1967 - 70 Pre Decimal Machin
This new design of Great Britain definitive stamps was introduced in 1967, the image chosen for this design was one by the late Arnold Machin (1911 - 1999). Like the previous "Wildings" issue the name "Machins" entered common usage to describe stamps of this design.
